Storage Question
Well I have a 16 Gb playbook and seem to be running into some space Issues. I only have my music, which is about 2.65 GBs and to give it some leeway we'll say 3Gb. Then I have tetris, NFS, Modern Combat, and Starfront collision. That is nowhere above 2.5GB, but just to be safe we'll say that equals 3Gb
So apparently with this model you get 14.7Gb of the 16, and I only have 6.9GB left. How in the world does 14.7-6=6.9??
It just doesn't make sense and I don't know what to do I was thinking maybe security wipe? It is also important to note that i am running OS 2 beta, would this have anything to do with it?

Did you factor in the OS itself? It sounds about right to me...

I have noticed, I may be wrong but..
I also have modern combat 2 and starfront blah blah.. the download file is around 500mb. This is really the only available info on storage that is available from appworld, and unless you get something like file browser (which I think may show actual app space. air browser does not show this), then there really isn't a way of knowing how much space an app takes. That being said though, it is possible and very likely that as I mentioned before, these apps are around 500mb, and this is probably in a compressed format, meaning that when it enters 'install' phase, it is extracting and unpacking those files and further installing them on your playbook. I have noticed that these apps actually take around 1gb of space

Wow you really think so..... I shoudl've got the 32gb :(

When rocking a 16 GB beware of your Browser History(cache, cookies, muffins, all that good stuff), it can easely take up 200 mb of space.
Also check your 1080p Videos, afther some filming it took up to 3 GB of storage for 15 mins of video in total!

A reboot may clear up deleted and/or temporary files.

If you've updated any of the software lately rebooting will free up some space.

If you have sideloaded any android files, I have found that you need to remove them with the same program not by pressing and icon the hitting the garbage.
Or else the file can still potentially be there using up space. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this.
