A SONOS controller may be on the way

I know that the only app that I sorely miss on my Playbook is a Sonos Controller app. Well, it seems that Tiggit is giving it a go:

You may know Tiggit from his Sonos app for BBOS devices:

He is essentially taking an Android based controller that he had worked on previously (but never published due to Sonos eventually releasing their own app), and is porting that to work with the Playbook's android app player. What he has working so far works not only on the Playbook, but BB10 as well.

The great news is that the beta is indeed being tested. I've been playing with it for a week or so now and whatever does work, works GREAT. Still some work to do of course but it looks good, it does what it needs to do. Not sexy or flashy like original SONOS app but an amazing effort by Tiggit and solution to an app a lot of us have wanted for a long time. SONOS did squat for us devotees, in my opinion Robert at Tiggit deserves our support. I figure a few weeks at most and this app will be ready to fly. BB10 version as well.

Can't wait. I will certainly buy it.
