Laptop (top pic) and playbook (bottom pic) wifi speed. Why such a difference?



I mean I do expect that there will be a difference but this is actually the 1/6th from what the laptop gets.
In Playbook everything is enabled (flash, java, e.t.c.) and everything is cleared (cookies, e.t.c.).
They are over the same wifi and the router is just 5 metres away from both devices.
PB is updated to the latest version. 16GB, free = 5.5GB.

Any ideas? Does anybody else experience such difference?

Assume you have checked wifi and internet connection info using gear icon and found no clues. Have you tried a different browser?

No difference whatsoever between the default browser and the "Simple Browser". No, no clue at all.

UPDATE: after the eleventh restart it seems the speed is up to normal (26mb/sec). Fingers crossed will remain as such.
