    Has anyone else encountered a problem where they are watching a live stream on the PlayBook browser and it seems to be playing in slow motion and then the stream would freeze or stop playing after about 30 seconds, if so is there any way around this as I would love to be able to stream football (soccer) on the paid site that I use in great quality directly on my playbook

    Yeah it happens. I would assume the freezing and jittery playback is due to the upstream speed of the live content from the person who is sharing it with you. When that happens for me I just find another stream that I could tolerate.

    used to watch live TV on the PB, no more possible, too slow
    or youtube

    the PB can not run 720p anymore, only 360p

    I can do all the things on my wife's ipad mini and ipod, same connections

    its time to move on

    It seems to depend on the site serving the video.
    I have to say that the PlayBook seems a lot more sensitive than other devices to fluctuations in the stream - it is a LOT more likely to jerk, freeze or fail entirely on some sites, where my TV or laptop seem to have no problems at all. My guess is it is something to do with the amount of memory allocated to buffering...(?)
    That said, YouTube, BBC iPlayer, Channel4 player, STV (not ITV though!!) amongst others all work pretty well for me on my PB.

    If it used to work, but doesn't any more then something in your setup must have changed. Have you moved house, changed your broadband supplier or router? Maybe your playbook could do with a springclean? Delete some stuff you don't need. I have heard that doing a backup, security wipe and restore can have a good effect on performance (though that sounds like a bit of a ballache I must admit)
