Let's worry about getting the current Android Player out and official first, huh? This is a bonus feature, so let's not rush it...

I asked this question in the betazone forums, and the response I got from John there was that for sure OS2.0 will only support gingerbread, but RIM is committed to make the android run times work with updates to android. So, we might see ics down the road if a lot of android apps only work with ics.

The reason I'm asking is because tablet optimized apps would be a better fit if possible.
