sideloading tips?
Hi folks, first apologize for my typos - im norwegian.
But i was hoping for a few tips on sideloading. Just bought a cheap 64gb playbook since i have the Q10, and i cant stand android anymore.
just needed a tab to view lol on twitch and some surfing so this is just what i needed.
But :
i can use DDPB fine over WLAN, and i have successfully installled some apps.
tried to install the good e reader app store - with luck, but the screen i see is totaly different from the one on the tutorial video on the e-reader site.
anyone know what version they use on the vid ?
That playbook on the tutorial video also have ' tunein radio' installed i can see, but that app i CANNOT get to work.
ALong with a few other apps i get error that " system process, blackberry keyboard" has stopped.
I used the online APK converter site and ran the BAR file. But in the DDPB i get an ! and -21 on status - anyone know what that is ?
tried a few versions of " twitch.tv" also, for android 2.3 but that also gave the same error.
thanks for any good tips, i have gotten the tubemate to work fine, but the tunein radio would be great to have.
best regards from Norway.

Personally, I prefer using Chrome and the PlayBook App Manager Extension... Way easier... FYI, I've never been able to get a side loaded TuneIn radio to work on the PB... It runs but can't connect to streams...

Hi, thanks for the answer - haven't tried chrome and playbook extension, i am on my PC alot so i like the way DDPB can connect via WIFI to both my PB and my Q10, but i will read up on it and try it :)
As you say - it runs but cant connect: tried a few versions this night and got a few to work, but not connect to streams, get "internal decoder error" as an error :(
thanks again
oh, i also forgot :
is it the pc software for the bold9900 i can use to backup the playbook or can i use blackberry link ?

PB uses BlackBerry Desktop... Not sure if you can backup via BB Link though...
