Side loading droid apps w/DDPB
I'm trying to side load droid apps using DDPB (don't know of another way, if there is one) and I get an error message:
"Java is not recognized as an external or internal command"
I was using what I'm thinking was an older version of DDPB up until 2 days ago, successfully, then needed to download another version......possibly a newer version.
I had to re-format my comp and lost the version I had.........
Any suggestions??????

Update the java on your computer. It worked perfectly for me after updating.
(Control Panel > Java Control Panel > Update )

Can you say it in other words ? 'cause I didn't get you.
Re: Side loading droid apps w/DDPB
What's proving to be an easier way to INstall and UNinstall sideloaded Android apps is the Google Chrome Browser to which you add the PlaybookAppManager. It shows a neat list of what apps are installed and provides a drag/drop method of installing android apps. The Chrome browser is like InternetExplorer or Firefox and you then download a plug-in, the Playbook app Manager.
The previous instructions suggest you need to upgrade or refresh your java version. And it sounds as if it can be done through Control Panel.

Ditto on Chrome. To do it, first install Chrome on your computer, then go here in Chrome and follow the instructions. PlayBook App Manager
