    Hoping to get my playbook anyday now. Been reading this forum and wanted to know if I should do the OTA update when i get the playbook. Seems like the new update 1.08 is having some issues or should i just stick with whatever comes with the tablet until 2.0 comes out?? I will mainly use the tablet for web surfing, music, videos.

    Running the OTA update is part of the setup process. Don't know if there is a way to skip it or not.

    There is no way to skip the update. I have had no issue with the latest software.
