Lol. That's a decision that only you can make. It is a tough choice. I absolutely love my PB and will probably be getting the Torch 9810 soon. Look at it this way, whichever way you go, you can't lose. Good luck!

Get the Playbook at this incredible discount! (I paid the full price last summer) It is an incredible device and I use it all the time!

I also saw some phone companies offer the 9900 nearly for free with a 3-year service plan. So you could get both!

Do you want a phone or a tablet?

If you don't know: what do you want a mobile device for anyway?

Answer those and you may have your own answer...

Its going to be up to what you really want or what you really need. Is your Curve still running well? Is it time for an upgrade? In order of necessity, I would think a good, solid phone would be first priority for my communication needs. The tablet would be second. If your phone is working perfectly, and you can wait to see what the BB10 phones have in store, then get a tablet and pass the time away.

Depending on the prices of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry PlayBook you might be able to buy both for less than the original price of the tablet alone on 19 April 2011. Beware of the known hardware/software issues with the BlackBerry Bold 9900. In conjunction with the BlackBerry PlayBook you might consider the BlackBerry Bold 9790 instead of the BlackBerry Bold 9900. I keep my BlackBerry Bold 9780 bridged to my BlackBerry PlayBook 24/7 and when one is out of Bluetooth range of the other device they automatically reconnect once within range.

I use my 9900 a lot more than my Playbook, but at current prices the PB is a steal!

People I've shown The PlayBook too have been impressed, but I have to explain to them that at the current price it is a tablet that is cheap, but it's not a 'cheap' tablet.
For the price the PlayBook is a steal- the build quality is great and the screen is fantastic. The QNX operating system is really nice.

If you hear people tell you the PlayBook is rubbish, not very good, not worth buying etc... It's almost certain they've never actually used one.

Not sure about the phone but definitely the PB!

I have always had an iphone and recently upgraded from my i4 to i4S (just before I bought the PB) and I am regretting it. The i4S is my second phone (apart from the work issued BB) and I have not used it for more than 3 hours in the last 3 weeks ever since I got my PB. The work issued BB and my PB are more than enough for my needs. I wish I had not rushed into getting the i4S... but thats fine

Are you looking to pair your phone with it? Is that curve 2g only? If so it might be pretty slow using bridge to browse.
