I bought a playbook in a garage sale I saw that the screen had some edges like an old movie I did not give importance but they are already bothering me, they do not let me see part of the top bar and they cover the corners the edge is very similar to this image

Should I replace the screen or is it a matter of options?

You are probably just as well off to reload the OS with the latest autoloader. Can you tell us what OS is on the device?

Well that is the latest and last OS, so I guess all you can do now is reload that OS to see if it fixes the problem. I still really don't understand the "old movie" reference but if it is a broken screen and not a wallpaper issue then I guess you may as well send it away for recycle. It would not be worth replacing the screen.

This is what I mean with the edges of an old movie ... that's how my screen looks, I hope I can see the darkened edges it has https://www.pinterest.es/pin/375135843957477692/

Ahhh.......I presume it looks that way no matter what app you have opened and it does appear to be a damaged screen. I don't think you can do anything about that, so you would be wasting your time trying to reload the OS in my opinion. You will just have to put up with it. At least you can listen to music with it---great speakers!
