I just realized that when browsing Web on my playbook I can tap and hold a pic and hives me option to save either on the playbook or my 9860 through bridge.. I tried saving it to my phone 10 times and it says it is complete but when I check my phone it nowhere to be seen. I can find the pic I saved to the playbook folder although when I hold my finger on the pic no options appear for me to "send" picture.. I'm trying to send it via sms

I never noticed the option to save on phone. Thanks. Too bad it doesn't work for me either
You can always transfer the file with an app like Files and Folder.

I just successfully did it on my 9930. I pressed/held, it saved. I found it in

    <root> / SDCard / Blackberry / pictures

    Your post gave me hope.
I found the pictures in my phones document folder. I wonder what determines where they go?
I long press a picture, save as, I get the options for Playbook/media card 9900/device9900, I choose media card and they go to the documents folder.
Choosing device9900 puts them in device/home/user/documents.

If you use Bridge Email and there's any attachment, saving it/them will save them to the phone and NOT the pb. Since the email originated on the phone, any attachment will remain on the phone (you can take a screen shot (but BES disables such screen shots)) They will be in the

    Documents/Bridge folder, I **THINK**
