hey guys i wanna know a bit more info about rooting my blackberry playbook, im tjinking of waiting untill official OS 2 comes out, now if i root it, will i be able to upgrade it when it comes out? having all the features and everything ok?
If you root it now, you can upgrade, but you'd probably be wise to do a "debrick" first, as that would wipe out traces of the root job and would ensure you're starting from a clean slate. If you didn't do that, and upgraded directly from a rooted PlayBook to the official release, you might encounter issues and wouldn't know whether to blame the upgrade or your own actions for the problem.
