Oh I'm sure they has to be a way for them to strip the remaining functionality from the playbook. I expect another update any day now.

I updated last week from anote that came up on my screen, when it asked to reboot to activate the update my Playbook never did recover!! the battery was low at the time so I plugged it in to make sure all went smoothly, but it has not come back on since the update. All I have is a little red flashing light.......can't do anything with it!

FYI: I've located a zip file called "2.1.0.1526.zip", which should refer to the OS version with the same number. Don't know what to do with it yet, but I'd call it a promising start (as I am a positive kind of guy). See this post in the "other thread" (and use at own risk, obviously).

edit: probably not the right kind of file, see follow-up on "other thread" also.

Done that and no help, just a big waste of time.

Three playbooks that I updated all have the same problems since this update. All three have different apps and when I wiped I didn't load back any that were just taking up space, only the ones that I wanted. My 64 gb has 56 gb free so space isn't an issue either.

My Prime 64gig still awaits the upgrade. I've been playing the "should I, shouldn't I" for more than a week. No problems have been detected on the 32gig but I don't use it all that much. But things seem to be running. I have a feeling that I would have to free up space on the 64 to allow the upgrade to process - it is pretty packed.
