    1. What is the best screen protector? Didn't see one made by Targus.
    2. How do you side load android apps. I know its stated elsewhere on this site. Can someone provide a link, please? Thanks.

And if you don't find the converted file (the *.bar file) of the Android app you need, you may try this online tool (never tried it myself):

    PlayBook .apk to .bar converter

As a developer I belive we should respect the work of others and convert only the *.apk files of free Android apps.

Screen protectors like many PB accessories are becoming rarer. I'd suggest looking online for such items.

With "normal use", any mainstream screen protector will work. Zagg is the only ly standout because of application method and a bit of orange peel. Imo.

I prefer the type that use vinyl adhesion (natural stick) rather than any gooey glue or water application compound

I don't know about best screen protector. But I am quite liking an anti-fingerprint screen protector from hip-street (walmart) at the moment. Some people don't like them because you lose that HD quality view due to its texture. If you watch online movies, you will never notice. You play HD movies and games you will. I like it because I don't need to clean it very often, hence the anti-fingerprint,and that texture also reduces glare. That is good if you use it outdoors alot. It is very difficult to leave a bubble when you install it making for a very clean look.

I've been using a Zagg on my personal PB for almost 2 years with no issues. We have several PBs at work all sporting Zaggs as well. They've held up better than a few others we've tried. That being said, it's hard to beat the feel of a naked PB screen.

Well, looks like Targus does make one. If that is what you want:
    Targus BlackBerry PlayBook

I use Zagg, too, but I hate the application process trying to squeeze all those bubbles out.
