If you buy a used PB from someone can you transfer the manufacturers warranty? Is the PB locked into their BBid or can you use your own?
Reason I'm asking is, I know BB has them on sale until 2/4/12 for $299.99 but if I can find a really good deal on a 64gb with accessories for around $350-$400 I want to jump on it but if I'm going to have troubles with warranties & id's, I will just get it brand new and go from there!
All this might be moot if I win with BB's #JanuBerry contest though, so we shal see!

ShopBlackberry.com still has the 64BG for $299.00. offer ends 2/4/12. why buy a used one? only additional accessory you need is the Rapid charger or the Pod. Those you can find on eBay for under $30.

Be sure to Check that site for the country you live in..

At least on their bb phones, warranties do NOT transfer and I suspect it is the same on the playbook.

Exactly, why would you buy a Playbook if you can get it for about $280 + tax. Accessories are also discounted in most places (Staples, ebay, etc.)?

Answering your question - I've read somewhere the warranty is non-transferable. But I may be wrong.
