Hey Kevin whats the word for SSL VPN... I realize its more of an ActiveX function versus a Flash component?

If it uses active x, then it'll never work on the playbook as active x work only in internet explorer.
You can check with your it dept. to see if there's a way to configure the vpn in the options

The ability to connect over SSL VPN would be a very welcome addition. I guess for a lot of SSL VPN devices we need the Playbook to support Java.
In fact I shall put this in my top 3 (never to materialise) wish list requests for OS2.

PPTP/L2TP VPN support would be my purchase decider for my next tablet. Hope RIM catches a wake up and realises how many people use this feature.

I, too, am looking for a PPTP solution. Tired of having to route through my Windows desktop just to gain access to our RRAS VPN back in the States...plus, it's dog slow, so.
