I have a strong wifi connection when I am close to my router, but I can't go upstairs or even 30 feet away before I lose the wifi connection or it becomes very weak. What could be the problem? Thanks.
How good is your wi-fi connection from your router- thats the first question to ask. Do you have a laptop that functions fine at those distances, where your PB has failed. If so, then it might be a problem with your PB hardware- did you try to reboot your PB.
Check to see how many bars (or semi-circles) are showing up when your PB is connected to your router. If it keeps on reducing as you move away that would mean that signal strength from your router is bad.
I live in a 2 story town home and use a 7 year old Belkin router and have no problem accessing the Wi-fi from anywhere.
