when I try to sync my blackberry playbook to my mac computer it acts as though it's working but nothing happens. it just kept on saying it was synching my music for over an hour but there was no indicator that anything was transferring from my itunes to the playbook. And when I check under device up top it only highlights 'forget device'. I had 500 mb to transfer: can that take over an hour? I would end up stopping the synching (which was an option I was given) because I could not intervene any other way. even then I would have to 'force quit' to close the softwear. I am not a practised user of the playbook or (actually) my computer, being a retiree. I am afraid I need help here.

I can confirm, from a mac at least, syncing some dozen songs can be incredibly long (last time I left the thing going all night). The "hands-on" method described above may be faster indeed.
