    Hi

    I have a 64 gig playbook
    Current os is Version 1.0.8.6067

I connect via wifi to my home router Netgear DGND 3300v2

When I tap browser the home page opens ok
I can then access web pages in the normal way.

However too often for my liking the following occurs:

The web page opens but I am unable to scroll down the page
If I tap a link nothing happens

    This is obviously very annoying
Is there anything I can do to prevent this happening.

    In options

Under Content I have switched off Enable flash and Jave script

Under Privacy & Security I have
    Keep History 30 days
    Private Browsing Off
    Block Pop Ups On
    Accept Coockies On
    Enable Websockets On

    Enable Web Inspector Off

I am also using Blackberry Bridge and blue tooth
These are enabled at all times

If I disable them I have to reinstall bridge again on my phone and the playbook

My phone is a bb bold 9700

    Cheers

    Urby

It sounds like your browser is locking up if you can't scroll or click any links.
A restart of the PB may clear things up. Try holding the power button until it turns off. That doesn't sound like a wifi issue to me. To test for connection issues try to use a different network somewhere and see if the problem continues.
Your bridge issue is an odd one too. For that I would delete the bluetooth pair, delete the bridge app, Restart both devices then start over.
If both of these issues continue a re-load of the OS maybe in order.

    Hi

I did all the things mentioned above

I did a secure wipe of the playbook
    Reinstalled os

The browser seemed to be working better.

    I then:

    Deleted blue tooth pair
    Deleted bridge app
    Restarted both devices
Installed bride and set up blackberry bridging

I then checked wi fi browser and it was working nice

I tried bridge browser and that too was working nice

This morning however I noticed that the wi fi browser would load a page. But I would have to wait a few minutes before I could scroll the page or activate any links.

    This is very frustrating.

I would have thought that the browser would be as good as browser on my pc and my blackberry bold 9700

Is there anything I can do to rectify the browser issue.

Not sure if this might help, I was having this issues before when i am using hotels' wifi.

In your wifi options/saved network/band type choose 2.4ghz or 5ghz instead of dual.

How are you holding it? You can not hold too far in on the bezel. Does it react the same when laying on a table and doing the same things?

Found I was doing this from time to time also. When holding it, my left thumb would actually be on the part of the bezel that is touch sensitive.
