    When I copied and pasted a video that I played from laptop to playbook the video play fine but there is no sound. What am I missing?

    You may need to covert the vid. You should check out the PB supported formats and free converters. There really are a lot of threads in this so searching should get you answer pretty quickly.

    I have quite a few avi videos that don't play sound on the PlayBook. That is because the audio used in the file is ac3 which will not work with the PlayBook by default. I used Handbrake (free) to convert the video to use account or other supported sound formats and it works great.

    Convert to MP4. Most compatable format cross platforms.

    I use the same converter I used for my PSP. Only now I can actually see what on the screen.

    Gspot (not what it sounds like) will shows the codecs used in videos. Another one is MediaInfo.

    chances are you are using a video with AC3 audio and the playbook doesnt support that codec yet. You will have to convert the video as suggested above.
