Slideshow-to-go is the Powerpoint equivalent app on the pb. It can run some files but not all from what I've read.

I sent .ppsx and .pps files to myself and Slideshow To Go opened both files on the PB.

Can you open the pps file sent to you on your BB phone? Or did you save it locally on the PB and cannot open it from there?

There is a fetch error on the bridge still with the Torch and Playbook and it is not always allowing the files to be retrieved from the phone, next bridge and playbook updates will better address it. RIM is aware of it and know that not all users are having this error when pulling files from email.

Solution (work around) is to save attachment to SD card on phone and then open it on playbook with corresponding app.

I've only tried one .pps file on my Playbook. It opens and displays nicely but the embedded sound track doesn't play. Maybe OS 2.x will answer my problem.

Other than the issue with torch as mentioned above, the PB cannot play animations in ppt files, and if they have a lot of intensive graphics it wont show up properly either.
