So we bought a few playbooks for some business presentations. Our goal was to load the powerpoint presentations and them play them as a loop. Well we quickly found out that there is no option to loop the presentation. Then we said fine we will just convert to a video and put that on loop. Well that worked until about 30 min in it locks up. Have tried turning wifi off, blutooth off just to make sure nothing was messing it up but still no luck. It seems that 30 min is all we can get. Now the conversion is a .wmv. We have looped a .mpeg for hrs. Is there a problem with the .wmv format? It also appears that there are no powerpoint apps that have a loop feature either. Seems weird something so basic as a loop command for presentations would not have been included. Anh thoughts or help would be great. Thanks

I can only comment on the powerpoint part. The program is just basic and does not have advanced functionality. We hope that with the release of OS2.0 either new features would be added, or there will be more apps to work around remaining issues.

How about exporting your powerpoint slides as images in a folder, then loop the album/folder with the pictures app or with F&F.

I have read where some folks have used Google Docs power point presentation with success using PB. I am not sure what features it has but it may have what you need. Sorry to be vague but I thought better that than nothing.
I do know if you down load simple browser - it features will allow it to run without putting the PB to sleep, this would be needed assuming you used a browser based solution.
    Hope it helps
