So i was watching the new season of BBT last night, and this caught my eye.



You can only see the back, but the size fits and that case looks a lot like my brookstone case. And as far as authenticity goes, it seems to match. The shot is supposed to be on the international space station, and the PB is the only tablet certified for US government use.

So, is it the PB or do my eyes deceive me?

As much as I like both the playbook and the big bang theory. The big bang theory have the ipad (with Sheldon and leonard) as well as the iphone. However I do wish I can see blackberry products in future episodes.

This fascination with seeing devices used on tv and movies has always boggled my mind, lol.

It's not like tv shows and movies are produced on a different world where smartphones and tablets are uncommon. The same people in the shows and movies use the same smartphones and tablets we do. I'd say promotion is good but let's be realistic here, in most cases they do all they can to hide the fact of what the device really is.

Unless of course, it was a paid placement.

The guy's holding the bottom part pretty close to his body..... the Playbook is less than 8" wide.... So unless the actor is about 12" wide, it's probably not a Playbook.

They have a bunch. In fact, I believe McDonald's and McCains use PlayBooks as part of their CRM tools so they can access orders etc etc etc on the go.
