Both. And a 9.7 and 8.9 also (I'm a tablet junkie).

I like the 7, size its just so easy to carry around, people I work with have the ipad and never have it with them. my PB goes where I go.
10 inch, the 7 is more comfortable, but I have used the ipad and find the bigger screen size more practical for reading and stuff... So 10, but a PlayBook of course.!!!
The 7" devices are the best for carrying around. It's not totally about the screen size but more about the actual device size. Without the bezel the PlayBook could actually have a 9" screen. Even Samsung has a 7.7" screen in just about the same form factor. I hope RIM reduces the bezel in the next design and increase the screen size as much as they can.
I think RIM wasted a lot of real estate on the bezel.
I prefer the one I have, that's why I bought it.
I prefer the 7" playbook over 10"(almost) iPad

7" with a slightly smaller bezel than the PlayBook, and more smooth edges. The PB isn't sharp, but it does dig in. Physically the Nexus 7 feels better, and it's definitely better in portrait mode thanks to the menu buttons at the bottom shifting the keyboard higher. I could see why someone with larger hands would prefer 7.7" - on the other hand a split and curved keyboard would also solve the problem of being too big.
I have a 10" tablet but I prefer using the 7" PB.
Prefer the 10 inch for web browsing but love the 7 inch for book reading, my Playbook.

Gotta go with the 7" tablet size. I got my PlayBook for portability and portability it indeed does provide very well. It's a powerful little device and if I want something bigger then I pull out the laptop. That's what it's for.
I didn't vote. I enjoy the 7" for it's portability, but for things like Zinio the bigger tablet would be nicer. I sure don't need a laptop, 7" tablet, and 10".....or do I
Along with my PlayBook, I have a 10.1" Android tablet. Although I like the added selection of apps on the larger tablet, I don't use it as much as I used to. The PlayBook is what I grab first.
The larger screen size is nice, but the weight is something that gets noticeble quickly. The big plus on the Android tablet is the keyboard selection. Thumb Keyboard makes it much easier to type in landscape, and being able to swipe through words using FlexT9 in portrait is a lot easier than typing on the PlayBook. I think part of the reason is that the PlayBook's predictive text capabilities don't seem to be available with Android apps.
As far as reading, browsing, playing games, the PlayBook is just fine (for me). The portability is great. Battery life is pretty good. If I could only carry one of these two devices, I would grab the PlayBook first. Add a few more apps and better keyboard capabilities and it would be perfect.
7 inch all the way, although I when I first used an ipad in bestbuy it was A LOT smaller than I had imagined it to be...
its not up there buy I see at least one other member mention 8.9, and so far of the tabs I have used that seems to be my personal sweetspot
With 10 inch, you might as well fire up the PC, and it's so clunky, 7" is just the right single hand size and very portable in a variety of carriers including a coat pocket. Try that with a iPad.
I find very versatile Playbook size (plus convertible case). I have used also an ipad but I find it bulky. But the best tip of the playbook is the 16:9 proportion. The more different with/height rate, more versatile is. You only have to turn the display. I would like widder ratio (without breaking problems or wearability) but I rather prefer Playbook over ipad. And the dispossition of the fontal audio is a great pro.
I'm also one who would like to going back to carrying just one device again. If I had a 7" playbook with full cell phone capabilities, that would make me happy. Hook it up to a bluetooth headset and I could take notes on the PlayBook while on phone calls, check the calendar and so on. I did that all the time with my BB.
Right now, it is almost like before I had my 8830. I carried a regular cell phone, point-and-shoot camera, a Dell Axim PDA, and my Zune mp3 player. I felt like Batman with all the things hanging on my utility belt. It went down to just the camera and 8830 when I switched to BlackBerry (no camera on the 8830), and finally just the BB when I upgraded to the Tour. It was great having just one device.
Now, I find I can read a lot better on the PlayBook, so I carry both the Bold and PlayBook around. Give me a PlayBook that makes phone calls, and I'd be back to just one device again! :)
8.9 would be the winner for me, but between 7" and 10" Id rather pick the 7" for the portability :)
I'm curious what people like about the 8.9" size specifically. The reason I go for 7" (or thereabouts) is because that's what fits into my coat pockets (and RIM talked about researching the ideal size for exactly that). 8.9" definitely ends up being too big. Do some people have jackets with bigger pockets?
Love the 7" for taking with. Would like a 10" pb for using at home.
7" for me....with the right selection of blue jeans it fits ubobtrusively in a front pocket....
i had a xoom, sold it to buy two pb"s , xoom size and weight made my hands numb. No such issues with pb, pb is greatest!
7" for most things...but there are some things that 10" is better at (browsing for example)
As there are some people who don't need the great transportability found with 7" I think RIM should also release a 10" BB
