    That might never be happening, with the release of OS2.0 the prices will be up again.....

    Nothing is getting discontinued and RIM is not giving up on the PB (too much at stake), so no they are not giving up on the tablet market.
    There might be a surplus of each type of the PB (16,32,64GB) that will trigger corresponding sales, but all three models should do the rounds and not get pulled out from the lineup.

    if marketing is any indication... prices are headed up when supply and demand is balanced... first sign is the $299 price currently for all models.

    and as a few has already posted... not when os 2 is being worked on...

    this is not another hp/palm senario because this is not a global market share decline.
