have you tried just using a hdmi cord to play movies on your tv?
nope havent got one yet, but just thought since usb that xbox would pick it up on the meantime.
Well i don't know about the Xbox but if you only want to watch movies from your PB on your TV, why not just getting a micro hdmi cable?
USB OTG (On The Go) is not in the PB (yet) and this is what would be needed for the Xbox to see it.
It may be in OS 2.0 or "thereafter". Lots of threads on it here.
For everyones sake, it sounds like you want to use your PlayBook as Mass Storage Device, kinda like how you connect a BlackBerry phone to your computer and access files through the folders rather than the DM, I have not tried this yet. But I will look into it early tomorrow.
+1 ... what tofo17 said....
I don't think that'll work... The usb connection actually is a form of LAN connection to a network share.
