I haven't turn on my Playbook in awhile misplace my charger(i didn't want to plug it in the laptop all the time)I actually found my charger I plugged in my charger and the red light comes on and then it's say the battery is dead and charging. It's been doing that for about a day or two. How long does it take for the PlayBook to turn back on?

The battery should never be allowed to go completely dead.

I'd suggest it's probably full by now, but the Playbook has "forgotten" how to switch back on.

Try plugging it back into your laptop and going through a hard reset. Hopefully that should recover the OS and set everything working again.

I had mine refuse to switch on once and getting a reload from the PC got it working again.

That, or you may need to do stack charging

CAUTION: UNplug and re-plug the charger at the wall to avoid undue stress on the usb port. A laptop charge, if it even worked, would be very slow.

Yes it aaaaallliivvvveee!!!!!! Finally after soon long on the charger it has risen from the dead. Thanks for the help everyone.
