    Does anyone have the number for Blackberry customer support here in the UK? Really struggling to find the number for them. Blackberry in the U.S. have an out of warranty number which they charge $50, but can't find my local number. Don't want to replace it just yet, just over 2 years old still going strong.

    Support is limited (if nonexistent) at this point. Others have experienced the USB port issue; the best solution is to go with the rapid travel charger:

    I'll phone them tomorrow, see what happens if anything. If not that charger is a steal at just over a tenner. Does it use a different port than the usb wall charger?

    Is it possible to get Blackberry to do repairs on the Playbooks?

    Yeah, you've really got to baby that port. So easy to break it.

    The rapid charger works well as long as you don't need to synch it with desktop...

    You will have to use a wifi sync program along with the rapid charger. Had to do this with my wife's Playbook

    The Playbook is my mother-in-law's and technology isn't her friend. Since we bought it her 2 years ago, she never puts it down. Its a massive pain in my backside lol, as when things don't go right, I have to fix it.

    Don't waste your time with the old USB and save your sanity by buying the magnetic rapid charger. Trust me -its a must have for anyone owning the playbook

    Ordered it on Wednesday, arrived on Thurs, using the link provided, excellent product, the pogo pin charger is really good no fussing about at night trying to find the port etc.

    The pogo pin charger is a must have for the playbook but treat the spring loaded pins on the end of the lead with care.

    I've had two go faulty where the pin spring tension failed.

    Always remove it squarely an store it where it can't get damaged.

    The USB port is wobbly by default (on the three devices I've had), appears to be some sort of really poor strain relief design. Two of them went back to the factory for the USB port not responding after only a couple of months (had to constantly plug and replug it to develop apps), third one has a hosed power button, but they won't replace it anymore.
