    For the past few weeks I can't seem to go online with my playbook. It shows that I am connected to my wi-fi, but if i try to open anything in the browser or use an app, it says I'm not connected. My laptop and my Blackberry Bold both connect fine to the wi-fi. Have I maybe changed a setting somewhere and I didn't realize it?

    Delete the profile restart both the pb and router. Connect again.

    I have the problem from time to time, I turn off the wifi and turn it back on after about 5 seconds. I don't know why that works, maybe just clearing some registers. When that didn't work, I just rebooted.
    On anther note, I recently changed to FIOS, and after 1week, haven't had the problems.
    New modem, new router, new provider.

    Mine too recently. I got away with rebooting just the router.

    Another thing you could do is try another wifi, like at Starbuck.

    Have you looked at all the information available under wifi that you can get under the gear?You may have to connect manually. What type of security setting are you using on the router? I have had trouble with WEP and prefer WPA2. Also are you able to transfer over your LAN to your other devices?
