The "killer app" for my company would be one that allows us to use the PB as a (wired) serial terminal. In App World | Utilities | Utilities I've found one app called Netting which has a simple Telnet client -- it needs a little polishing but major props to a Mr. Zayas for 1) writing it and 2) making it free -- but we really need something similar to good old Hyperterminal to allow us to talk out of the USB port into an appropriate USB-to-serial cable.

Any of you wizards working on something like that?

    Thx!

To the best of my knowledge this wouldnt be possible given the current development tools.

could be possible in the future. support on the usb port seems limited at the moment to things like keyboards, mass storage client, etc.

Once both the native SDK and USB OTG support are available, this should be fairly simple to do.

I could use that also for my work instead of carrying my laptop just to program switches.
