I have run into many problems with usb port and cable and stand alone charger connections through poblem is that they all become very dirty very quickly. The solution as a brand of electrical contact cleaner called Maxipro Contact cleaner. One of the biggest problems us that most people use their cleaner and plug in connection cables right away, including myself. That is not the way it works you must spray contacts, usv cables, power supply, etc, do not connect them, let them dry for at least 4hours then try them. I have restored several usb cables tablets, phones, power supplies that were all dead this way. Russ Campbell
