I've learned my lesson after the last .668 upgrade (had to downgrade and pretty much lost everything on my PB). I'll wait until majority confirm there isn't any issues with new release or 2.1 comes...whatever comes first.
It would be kinda funny if the OS 2.1.x update came out & then a few days later the 2.0.668 update followed it lol
I thought when 2.0.1.668 was last released, there was also a bug update for the beta.. Also I don't like staying on the beta's because they have a few minor bugs that kinda irritate me somehow. For example, when I turn on auto brightness then turn it off, it won't let me adjust the brightness. And the last time .668 was released it overheated my playbook a bit.
Perhaps everybody needs to be on .668 and not still on .358 in order to get 2.1.
Doubt that is the case. If it was, the PB I just bought for my wife would have never upgraded to 2.0.1.358 as it was running an old OS version (I believe it was still OS 1.something).
I agree. Why would they re-release a fixed old build?

If they did fix it, they should re-release it to the ones with .668. I for one am tired of charging my playbook everyday! (I know I can roll back. Don't want to lose anything) I checked and still 'you currently have the latest software installed'

I have had to charge my PB daily regardless of the OS version. The thing just eats it up.
