I just checked my updates and OS 1.0.1.1746 is showing for me. Downloading it now. Anyone else seeing it? Be sure to post your findings!

* Update from Kevin: So it seems Adam's PlayBook is posessed. He downloaded the .1746 update as shown above, but it wouldn't actually install on his device. Now he's even seeing .1758 available for download, but same thing, it won't install. So these are updates that are NOT AVAILBLE to all right now. Not quite sure what's going on here. So for now .1710 is still the latest official available. *

you must be special. Still 1710 here OTA at least. Two updates a day would be entertaining.

I do note that I laugh at myself (and other CB fans here) - I honestly keep thinking, do we have a kindle/citrix/BBM app yet? It has already been 72hrs since release. In seconds, thats a big number.

Btw, did you get a demo unit? Demo units might have more frequent updates...

Still saying .1710 is the latest here too. Hopefully this new one will activate the gps. Poynt is pretty useless right now unless you live in Calgary....And Bing maps is just plain old useless.

I did get an "early" unit but not a demo unit. Nothing really special about any units though - all the updates etc. should be the same across the board I think. No way to really push updates to just certain devices as far as I can tell.

all i can say is atleast its getting some attention unlike ohhh idk a certain android tablet. my xoom got zero post launch updates and like on pre wifi update. so rim for all their faults atleast tries to get updates out for the new devices very fast in my opinion. as far as updates, BRING THEM ON!

Poynt picked me up fine with .1710; placed me at my neighbours house. Bing was about 1km off.

I upgraded from the original 1690 last night using the DM which was 1705. then this morning when I restarted the upgrade it automatically looked for an upgrade. I found 1710, however at first it would not finish the download. Now, it tries to connect and it get an error, it can not connect to the download server(3000) note, try again. It will not let me abort the upgrade to just use the 1705. I assume the servers are overloaded and I am stuck. Seeking how to stop for now the automatic check for updates and use it as is until I am ready to upgrade to whatever the newest OS is. Can anyone help? Can I do a hard reset with the two volume buttons and power button to stop the automatic update? thanks.
