Thanks doc, I didn't wanna shell out $40 for a holder like this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...84.m1423.l2649 but I also wanted to be minimalistic to be able to remove and store it away easily.

Lol I got the idea here and it's not too hard to make if you have the materials and tools.

Mine is made out of brass so it's pretty sturdy. It holds the PB in the leather case which I've cut a hole out of the spine to allow access to all the ports. So it's a very very custom set up.

Gravity. The dash is slightly reclined so there doesn't need to be anything hold the top.

It doesn't damage the dash as it slips in between the cracks of the components and the leather case's soft inner lining covers the back of the PB that rubs against the dash/radio.

I have an idea for those who aren't comfortable using gravity to hold these in place. You could get adhesive velcro dots or strips from a dollar store and adhere the rough portion on the car attachment and the fuzzy side on the PlayBook case or PlayBook rear case itself. If you adhere them to a naked PlayBook, the fuzzy dots will act as a buffer to prevent scratches when placed on tables and such.

The thing is, the glue on store bought velcro dots isn't that strong. I know from experience that getting double sided foam tape or stronger sign adhesive tape (3M) will adhere anything. It's ridiculously strong and pressure activated. You just can't apply it in winter weather or it wont stick.

I use mine on my treadmill and it helps with motivation (keeps the mind occupied from the torture of working out). Neutron Music Player kicks *** because it's very touch based and uses swiping so when running at speed, it's not hard to adjust things when you're bobbing up and down in motion. You can always watch a video too to keep the boredom at bay. Kalemsoft Media Player is great for streaming. Using Splashtop or a remote app works great for PC connectivity if needed.

Anyhow, here are some pics of my treadmill rig I made. It consists of a $2 metal wire (with black vinyl coating) stand from the dollar store and some strapping from the dollar store too cut to size ($1) and buckle clips ($1) and a few minutes of time sewing loops around the wire hanger stand and I was in business. Make sure it can be tightened and loosened as needed. Anyhow, this can be done in 15 minutes or less if you're good with needle and thread...
