I bought a ram mount to mount mine in my vehicle. Ram-mount.com. Not the cheapest but I love it.

Lol, who drives then?

No you can get on of those suction cup mounts and suck it onto a bus window. Everyone has to do their part!

Me lol. It's not difficult in anyway lol

I saw another that was in a late 90's Honda Civic as well. Looked pretty awesome!

I was thinking about doing it in my A8 since my clarion unit is bunk anyway. Not sure yet though
Do it!

That's a good idea OP, I hope you don't mind if I steal it for my blg rig. I was wondering what the best method of mounting both a gps and a video screen would be, and that may be it.
As long as you don't steal my holder!

Yeah? You gonna come over and help?? Haha. Not sure I'm that comfortable doing something like that. It would be sweet though. Guess it would have to all run through the USB? I'll start looking into it. If it ever happens, I'll definitely post some pics... And give you credit for the push, obviously ;)
It was a vw polo, funny thing is that the opening for the factory system is the same size as a playbook

really really nice
I like PB so much :)
These are some great ideas, but you could use any tablet to do these.... Why just the Playbook? Just because you already own one?

The cassette is not dead either. :rotfl:
Where do some f you live that you can place it on your dash or stick it to your window and not get a ticket for obstruction of view?
so now you need to get Torque Check and the plug in and check out the performance of you car!
Now, I want a polo.

Looks like there are some left
$99?!? That's more expensive that a pb!

Definitely your last picture seems the most appropriate for driving. Mario Kart anyone?
and the best thing is you can keep it mounted there and no one will ever want to smash your windows in to steal it
Kind of funny... Maybe BB/QNX should release a user purchasable head unit running the PBOS or just sell w/e PlayBooks they have left with car mounts lol.
Does this look dead to you? ;)

I'm watching an online national live event right now on my PlayBook. Now. In bed. PlayBook. Bridged.
:)
No the PlayBook isn't dead.... but neither did it every make it to the status of a living Tablet. It has many uses and can be very useful.
That said the OP's setup in a car looks cool. But I've used the PlayBook with a number of mapping applications (online and cached). The GPS is slow and weak..... I don't trust it for any purpose.
