I bought a ram mount to mount mine in my vehicle. Ram-mount.com. Not the cheapest but I love it.

I don't have a car, does that mean the PlayBook is dead AFAIC?
No you can get on of those suction cup mounts and suck it onto a bus window. Everyone has to do their part!

Nice A year or so ago, someone replaced their head unit with a playbook. It was a vw but I don't remember which model. Looked awesome

That's a good idea OP, I hope you don't mind if I steal it for my blg rig. I was wondering what the best method of mounting both a gps and a video screen would be, and that may be it.

Yeah? You gonna come over and help?? Haha. Not sure I'm that comfortable doing something like that. It would be sweet though. Guess it would have to all run through the USB? I'll start looking into it. If it ever happens, I'll definitely post some pics... And give you credit for the push, obviously

It was a vw polo, funny thing is that the opening for the factory system is the same size as a playbook

These are some great ideas, but you could use any tablet to do these.... Why just the Playbook? Just because you already own one?

No the PlayBook isn't dead.... but neither did it every make it to the status of a living Tablet. It has many uses and can be very useful.

That said the OP's setup in a car looks cool. But I've used the PlayBook with a number of mapping applications (online and cached). The GPS is slow and weak..... I don't trust it for any purpose.
