PlayBook Music Player bug? Album view with 2 or more indentical album names

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone else had found this problem with the PlayBook Music Player?

I already had an album called "The_Best_Of_" by Argent and bought and downloaded an album called "The_Best_Of_" by Jefferson Airplane. Only the Argent album appears in the Albums view, but switching to Songs/Artists view clearly shows the 2 albums.

I could modify the MP3 tags to fix it I guess, but so far I haven't found the need.

Anyone else?

It's not really a bug, is it? The music player reads the tags, and if the tag says that the album tags are both "best of", then the PB has no way to distinguish that they're two different albums. Anyhow, if you tap on the "best of" Argent album, the songs from both albums should be listed there. And yes, I have three "Best Of" albums and all tunes from these show up in the same album.

Ah, that's interesting - yes, it works. I always wanted to see Argent play a gig with the 'Airplane :laughing:
