Not yet! Rooting provided this ability, referred to as USB OTG(USB on-the-go). Rooting is not available for 2.0 yet. We're all hoping this will maybe happen in the future!

Talked with RIM a week or so ago, seems the hardware refresh will come in Q2 of this year (not sure if prototype or full production sale). All models will come in 32GB with a microSD slot to upgrade memory capacity.

this is one of the feature i wanted on PB, however i did realized that if this would be an add on for the nxt PB. Do u think they would also produce a 64gb? Anyway I have PB 64gb and for the price of $324. its a win/win situation. Then again, adding sd card slot will be a great features.

Although I agree A card slot would be great. My laptop and wifi transfer fills this gap for me

Apparently you can. You have to solder something.

I read it here on crackberry. I'll see if I can find it

what u are referring to is with the rooted pb. if you don't have an usb-otg device than u need to solder pin 4 and 5 together on a micro usb-female usb. then u need to run a script in the rooted pb to turn feature on.

I am pleased you know what you are talking about

I was hoping that there was some sort of plug-in adaptor available.

Two things that I really think RIM dropped the Ball on are lack of SD Slot and the Price drop..I dont like the fact that I can buy a 64GB device for far less than I paid for a 32GB the week the PB was launched in the UK...Punished for being an early adopter....Not good business practice...
Regarding the Memory Stick What do you need to do ? I put a 32GB SD Card in my BB9900 and use that..In fact All the files I use for business ( PDF Word PPT etc ) Live on the SD card and I view them on the PB
    Works for me..

I'd love this feature, even if its an adapter through the micro usb port (like the apple camera connection kit). Hmmm, tethering a DSLR would be sweet too
