Strange thing happening, Playbook is loosing battery power while on charger. I am not running any programs and it is loosing its charge. It is in standby mode. Any ideas, it went from about half charged to 29% and loosing.

are you on the rapid charger? because mine has done that too. u really have to make sure it is connected sometimes

are u charging via usb? if u are that will take forever.

are you connected to any device via bluetooth? that could be one reason.

Yes, usb or rapid charger or dock?

The later two need to be properly seated or the Lightning Bold will show over the battery icon but charging will not occur. And usb provides only enough power to charge while the pb is idle which it sounds as if it was (standby).

So nothing was running? Any gps apps open?

You might try restarting the unit. Press and Hold the Power Button to restart or reboot by pressing and hold it as well as the VolUp and voldown buttons.
