Dear PB Community

I have found that there is no option to stop the auto dimming on my device.
Is there anything I could do to stop this.

I would like to be able to go to the kitchen or bathroom and my music or TV programme continues while am out of hours room!

To turn off auto dimming, try settings/screen. But, the auto dimming feature should not stop music or videos from playing when you hit the bathroom, etc. If you're trying to stop your PB from going into standby, that's another story, but there is a workaround to prevent this

I have tried our Staying apply, but it hasn't made any difference, but I feel my expressions I gave were wrong.
I believe the problem is that my PlayBook goes into "Standby mode", as mentioned by our dear pacoman.

The polar clock is not really what I should be looking for, which made me realise it's the standby mode which is the problem.

I could be watching a video or tv programme and my screen just goes blank.

It wasn't the video player, but directly from the browser.

I have just had the chance to see your directive and putting it if practice

Only thing is, is you do touch the screen, Ya just have to start all over again.
