The battery does tend to heat up while charging, but it should be minimal. However, you should also make sure that you keep your PB on standby if you do not want to use it while charging, and also have unnecessary apps minimized. This seems to keep it cooler.

If you feel that there is some problem and the battery seems to be really heating up beyond normal standards, then you can buy the app called "Battery guru" from the app world. It monitors internal temperature of the battery, it normally shouldn't go beyond 38C (as far as I have noticed on my PB)... but the app will give u a picture on if there is a problem.

    Good luck !

If you have a problem with heating up, OR anything else hardware related, be assured the PB is still under manufacturers warranty.

DO NOT USE A THIRD PARTY 'REPAIR' APP

If you are reffering to battery guru as a "repair" app that's not accurate. It simply records the tempature as reported by the OS. There is also very good support behind the app.

Everyone has a different definition of warm and hot.
During charging and moderate/heavy use I would say my PB is warm. It's been the same since april.
