After about 3 months of complete inactivity, and not wanting to sell it for the whopping $50 I'd get for it, I've decided to give my PlayBook (which I still admire from a hardware perspective, even if the software support has been an unmitigated disaster...) to my baby girl. My son has an iPod, and she showed some interest in my iPad mini (which sadly crushes, kills, and destroys the PB if for no other reason than SUPPORT), and figure she could at least have a little fun with it. Granted when big brother sees her he'll probably want it haha...

I've ordered a pink case (no reason other than it's a nice CaseMate pink one and was only $3.00), and have a few kids apps on it already.

My question is, does anyone have any favorite apps for their kids? Preferably free as I give the device about 2 weeks before it looks as good as the 3rd party support for the device (ironically similar to what was in her diaper this morning).

Anyone have favorite apps that are colorful, noisy, fun, etc???

I'm sad that this is what it's come to, but at least she won't be sad when she plays with it like I am (it IS depressing that a device with this much promise has been abandoned and left for dead.... but such is life I suppose).

When does 10 come out??? LMFAO!!!

I purchased a 64GB for my six year old granddaughter, here are some of the thing that she likes to play. Don't know if these will help with her being so young. Hope this will help.

It should hold up well. My girl just turned 3 and has been using it since about 10 months old. Its been dropped and slobbered on many times.
    Kiddo
    ABC Day
    Happy Farm Animals
    ScrapBook
    Instruments
    Finger Magic

I'm around 550 charge cycles and it still operates like new.

Try finding Mr Fox and Mr Rabbit for kids.

The developer was here when it was first released. It was kind of cute (my 3rd childhood perhaps!)

Use the PlayBook as a teaching tool. When your 10 month old grows up and is president of a big company they will know what to do, build cool device, and what not to do, run the company like RIMBERRY
