I use an old Sony Ericsson 5V charger via USB, I wonder if it's ok. Cause everytime it's charging, it gets hot
Also when I use it for a half an hour (not charging) the PB gets so hot especially from the BB sign in back.
I can't have the rapid charger , it's not available in the country I'm living in

That does sound a little odd. I've never had my PB get hot.

The pb can get hot with games that do intense processing and warm with some other operatings like browsing or maybe showing video. But it should not be getting very hot.

The standard PB charger is 5v 1.8Amps.

that's what I always do with my PB, play gameloft games, always use the browser and watch videos.. so I don't have to worry so much

Its normal for the battery to get warm at back if it is being used.

Ever since the last update, my PB gets warm when charging or any use for more than about 15-20 minutes of screen on time. However I do keep the brightness up all the way.
