I thought i'd write this to state again my love and dependency on this wonderful little device, and also let those just getting into it know that they have made a great choice.
My playbook was stolen along with my 9700 yesterday and immediately there was a void in my life:
For business, i have all my documents pdf'd and stored on there, i'm a Sound Designer and Rerecording Mixer, so i need to keep reading up on gear, tutorials and just keep pushing things ahead to get better and better, i needed some quick tips yesterday, i felt it the void.
For reading, business, pleasure, News and spiritual, i needed to quickly access some chapters of some books on Kindle, no pb, i felt it again.
For pleasure, surfing and games, that i do to fill in some gaps when i'm taking a break or resting, i couldn't access Crackberry except on my mac, it was some great guys in the community that taught me how to keep my bb id and appworld safe, i posted and within a few hours guys responded, so i'm always tuned into the forum, can't do that on the fly now, i'm feeling that big time as a tech junkie.
Games, i've got a lot of great games for when i'm bored both free and paid, QNX and Android, very good for easing the pressure, i'm feeling cut the rope big time!
The biggest pain however is on the Spiritual side of life, as a preacher/teacher, i've got e-MManuel and Alkitabku bible apps, with e-MManuel being the best bible app i've ever used i mean awesome! So my pb is always the first thing in my hand every morning, and pretty much most of the day anyway. I've got the Osnova study bible on Kindle, so today i had to do paper, i mean i'm reading my paper bible first time in months and its got dust on it, the pb bibles offer so much more efficient reading/studying/meditation and accessibility. This i'm feeling majorly!
I prepare my sermons in word, pdf them and send them to the pb, so i'm paperless in that regard, so today i'm writing rather than typing on that amazing predictive keyboard on OS2 beta.
But all is well that ends well, thank God my brother in law is in the US right now, i've just purchased a 64GB to replace my 16GB and a 16GB for my wife (same price i bought my original 16gb for the two), so really in retrospect it really does work out for my good Romans 8:28!:D
