    There's something loose inside my Playbook. I just noticed it recently, but I don't know how long it's been like this for. There's nothing rolling around inside, it just rattles. I'm fairly (say 70%) certain that it's coming from the area between the blackberry logo on the back of the device and the charging ports on the bottom of the playbook. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it like this on all Playbooks? My device is still under warranty, so I can send it back to Blackberry if I need to, but I would rather not as I have had frustrating experiences with their customer service department in the past. Any advice or help is very much appreciated.

    No it should NOT rattle...you have a defect somewhere. I would send it back PRONTO.

    The build quality of these tablets is usually excellent. Early ones had problems with buttons being too recessed and hard to operate. Some have had problems with the microUSB ports stop working, but that's after their owners admit to jamming the microUSB cable in the wrong way usually. Some early models had camera issues that would give lines and an error.4003 reply and not work properly after OS update corruption. There are some other random problems but for the vast majority of things, the PlayBook is a very solidly built tablet.

    Two pb's and NOT rattle - the bulge to some extent but not a rattle.

    The PB has a one year warranty to the original purchaser. It also has 90 free Tech support. I do not know how Rim deals with "quasi-tech support v. warranty"
