I went to a cineplex theater tonight to see Battle: LA (needed a brainless alien invasion flick) and before the film Marc Saltzmens latest ad was on for The Source and it was all about the playbook.
A couple months ago another Saltzmen playbook ad was linked here in the forums, but this one was different. It focused entirely on the playbooks use as an e-reader, and showed my favourite book on it (Dune). A short but sweet ad.
I figure it was a sign from God that I was right to pre-order it after all....

Didn't see the ad but that's a good first step by RIM. However, if it's anything like the one linked in this forum, then I don't think it's cool enough to stick in young people's mind and make them want one. You need pizzazz and cool factor.
