    I brought a playbook second hand about a year ago and it was full off apps games est so didnt need bb world i now have all pic n vids ov my son school plays trips family photos that i dont want to lose but old ownes id still on here and i dont have the password so i cant buy or download any new things games and apps and need to change it to my own without wiping the playbook is this possible

    You will have to wipe it but first you need to copy any pics, docs, spread sheets etc you put on there to your computer or perhaps a cloud account. Any purchased apps that the previous owner put on there will be gone as they are registered to his ID and don't belong to you. When you reboot the playbook you will be in the setup screen and have to establish your own ID . The operating system may also have to be upgraded. All of this can be done over wifi.
