Just out of curiosity, would anyone know how many charges the wifi-only playbook battery is good for? 300, 400 charges? more?

I've had my PlayBook since May 2011 and the battery health is 90% at 386 charges.....still going strong. I downloaded Battery Guru around July..(I think) and it gives me this information. I charge my PlayBook every night if that helps
Wow, that's great. Thanks! Indeed, informative.
When mentioning you charge it nightly, is just a top-off charge or full charge?
In my case, 36 charges(one every two nights) and "only" 85% left...
Any thoughts??
Sent from a old but beautiful BB 8520 or a new and shinny PB 2.0
I put it on the charger every night know matter what the battery percentage is, so that it's at 100% in the morning when I start my day :). It's been as low as 10% and as much as 80%.
Got mine a week or two after launch. Currently at 84% and 430 recharges.
Not sure, but I do know that my battery health percentage fluctuates between 88% and 91%, but mostly stays on 90%. In previous threads about this subject, the maker of "battery guru" thought this to be normal. I'm sure if you search (upper right corner) more information can be found
247 charges and 88%. The PB lives on the dock when not in use. Bought in Oct 2011. Probably another 90 charges before I installed battery guru.
Thanks to this thread, I just purchased the Battery Guru app. By the way, this is the first app I have ever purchased for the PlayBook, which I have owned now for nearly three months.
When I split out my bbid to TWO id's, the only app I've purchased on the replaced 32gig was Battery Guru. Otherwise all purchased apps are on the 64 including the original copy of Guru. I find it very useful to know a bit more about the charging processes and results.
Thanks everyone for your input!
BG is reading info from the device, not keeping record of it on its own.
Got my 64GB Playbook in January. Battery Guru tells me it is at 99% health at 112 recharge count. Perhaps the Guru would tell us what the health per cent means. Does it reflects the ratio of the estimated watt-hr charge of the full battery to the nominal 19.95 watt-hr reference capacity?
Thanks for the reference. From it I gather that RIM is responsible for the battery health algorithm not the Guru. So if you assign per cent full to different voltage levels on a standard charging curve and you measure the energy stored between points on that curve you can calculate the total energy stored and divide that by the number which represents the " standard battery" and multiply by a hundred you can get battery health per cent. This could also be done on the discharge cycle maybe more accurately. Naturally you would average out a set of numbers and not report anything over 100% although in some threads pictures of BG curves and some unrealistic numbers have been shown.
