I am having difficulty with the Account Integration settings for my Comcast Account. Does anyone have a configuration that is working for the new independent messages/mail application on the Playbook 2.0?

I've tried the Comcast recommended settings and I've used the exact same settings that work for my Blackberry Bold 990 with no luck.

    Try the following:

    Server Address: mail.comcast.net
    Port: 995
    Use SSL: On
    SMTP Server Address: smtp.comcast.net
    SMTP Port: 465
    SMTP Encryption: SSL

Your user name is your full email address and the password is what ever you designated.
Server Address for incoming mail: mail.comcast.net on Port 110 No SSL Security
SMTP Server Address: smtp.comcast.net on Port 587
    SMTP Encryption: StartTLS
    Sync Interval: 15 minutes

Hope this helps it worked for me!

Thanks for the quick replies. I've now tried both configurations and neither is working.

This is my setup as well (using my full email address for usernames) and everything is working.

It worked at home over my network through Comcast. I suspect it has something do do with bridging through my Blackberry Bold 9900; most likely something to do with ports and security.

Did you ever get your email set up? Having the same problem and have tried all of the above settings with no luck.
