That's because the android app you are trying to open through the ancient runtime (Gingerbread 2.3.3) does NOT support the Playbook's keyboard. Some apps do and some do not.
its on like every non BBW app, any way around it? I tried using older versions of apps too.
Give me an example of an app you are trying to run.
textnow, most google apps, marvel future fight. I tried getting into some app developer tools but over my head. Textnow is main one i want to get working, google play music a close second, google photos a third.
Sorry to tell you but none of those apps will work on the ancient android runtime of the Playbook.
